    Description

    I'm pretty sure this is a one of a kind.11th Airborne  Paratrooper Hachinoe, Japan  Clement Kellerman Smoking Jacket . This jacket is from the late 40's. I used a flash on the first two pictures and this shows the true blue color of this garment. The jacket looks much darker without a flash. This jacket belonged to my half brother who enlisted in the Army in 1947 and died during the Korean war in 1951. This jacket appears to have been hand made and has been packed away since his death. I'm guessing this is silk, but I don't know fabric. I have not cleaned this because I'm not sure how to do that safely. There are a couple very tiny tick holes, but given it's age, this jacket is almost perfect. I took a picture of a small discoloration on the cuff. It may clean-up, but again, I'm not trying to do that. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
