1989 Honda TRX250R

Description

1989 TRX250R project. I recently purchased this 250R from the original owner, the quad is in complete and close to all original condition, It starts, rides and stops, however the quad will need full service of carburetor and new internal engine seals. Blows smoke for aprx 3-5 minutes then clears out once ridden. Has great compression and shifts properly otherwise.The plastic cosmetics are rough, most need replacing, the hood and right fender may be salvageable. The rear subframe has a minor bend to the left, there are no cracks or repairs on the frame. Seat has some scuffing, no major rips or tares. Previous owner spray painted the bottom end, all other areas are untouched.Quad appears to be sitting on its original tires, all four hold good pressure with no dry rot. Brakes work good, all electronics are working properly. Starts within a couple kicks.Clean California title included with up to date registration.Great overall restoration candidate.
