Antique Dome Brass Military Button Scovill

Nice antique military domed brass button in very good used condition.
Markings on the back: SCOVILL   MF'G   CO. WATERBURY:
Reference to this backmark is from the 1850 - 1865 if I understood the identification right on a web site for Scovill buttons.
If this is otherwise please let me know.
Front of button has a eagle with a olive branch in it's claws on a lined background and a star border around the eagle.
It is domed in shape and measures 1/2".   It appears to be a two piece and has a shank on the back.
