Honda four Trax

Description

Honda Four Trax 250.  Barn / lean too, storage many yrs.
Low miles/ hours on it. With some TLC it will make someone a nice reliable Honda.
1987 last yr made.
Runs rides and stops right now...
Needs valves adjusted. ( Has ticking, )
Needs a starter and battery.
Kick start works perfect, generally starts in 2 kicks
Motor  good strong, running... Rear end good...
Driveline, good...
5 spd with Reverse
Shifts smooth as it should.
Original Rear brake is like new.
Front brakes not working at all at this time,  I haven't looked into it? ( Probably master cylinder service and lube)?
Rear original carlisle stryker tires had like new tread but flat and rotten, and went in garage. so these good vintage turf busters were put on. They ride ok.
Front tires are original but have dry cracked, and left front has plugs in it. Ideally  They need to be replaced.
Rear fenders have one big crack on each side ( in the usual spot)  it can be plastic welded repaired very nicely with a steady hand.
Rear trunk box and lid no cracks.
Front and back mudflaps are complete.
Front plastic is decent? 3 small drill holes and a crack under the seat area ( can be repaired)
Fender trim underneath front plastic is good.
Gas tank cover and hood good  condition no cracks 1986 model.
Seat is 1985 model  skin is original but does have 3 small rips in it.  (Covered with black tape)
All fender supports and hardware is there.
Missing a bolt in rear grab bar and front headlight.
New carburator installed. Old carb is included. Wiring tlc
Ignition key and wires need to be connected ( right now there twisted together so just  on / off switch).
Lights not working. Everything is there just need to make connections.
Plastic front and rear need cleaning from yrs of sitting. layers of dust collecting.
This is a excellent restore canidate
Original air filter has a rip needs replaced.
Motor oil is ok and rear differential oil is ok.
Gas tank is clean inside.
Handlebar is Straight.
Rear tow hitch good.
