Estate sale find, vintage original USAF Pilot's Log book assigned to Vernon Carlos Wallace of Kansas City, Missouri.
He appears to have been an African American Black pilot in the USAF based on him being mentioned in Jet Magazine (August 28, 1958).  It appears that he was killed some years later while flying as a civilian, The Kansas City Times (January 30, 1968).
