Rare & Unusual - Vintage Cramer 5 Cavity 35 Caliber Bullet Mold *Outstanding Condition*.
Offered for auction is this  rare and unusual Cramer bullet mold. It is marked "358 - 158 - STD". There is a scratch above and near the 3 on the factory mark. I am unsure of the significance of the marking. I took the mold to the local gun shop and the clerk measured the opening and verified the 35 caliber with a digital caliper. That was the best I could do for "due diligence".
First of all  - this monster weighs all but 5 pounds. I can't imagine holding it while 5 cavities are filled with hot lead.
Considering the age of this piece it is in amazing condition and will make a wonderful display piece.
The molds seem to be in good condition. The handles are gorgeous. The CRAMER forge markings are deep and clear. This is how it was found. I imagine it can still be used to mold bullets, however it is being sold as an antique as I am not qualified to determine if it will cast proper bullets. This is not my area of expertise - however I will answer your questions to best of my ability and I am willing to send more pictures if needed to clarify any questions.
