Description
Condition:
Mint, unused, never framed nor hung
This is a fine art hand pulled lithograph of the original movie poster titled:
The Bull Dogger
. The vintage one-sheet was originally created in 1922 to advertise the release of
The Bull Dogger
feature length film
starring Bill Pickett.
This lithograph was re-created, in 2001, on a rare antique 19th century hand-pulled printing press in affiliation with the American Film Institute's "100 American Classic Movie Posters". This is the same printing press that was used to create the vintage posters over 100 years ago. There are only 5 of these antique presses in existence, today.
Hand drawn plates are made, one for each colour, and then the plates are hand pulled through the vintage press one colour at a time. This is the exact same method that was used to create the beautiful vintage movie posters of the past.
The result is vibrant rich colours and crisp clean lines. This is a true work of art.
