Vintage 1974 Honda ATC90 US90 Three Wheeler w/ Balloon Tires (ATC 250R Big Red)

Description

1974 was the first year of the “ATC” model designation and the last year for balloon tires. It was also a one year only color for “Daytona Orange.”

Complete and unrestored with the original “Ohtsu” balloon tires and matching “131” vin and engine numbers. The front tire is in very good condition with no leaks, cracks, or patches. The rear tires are in poor condition, both physically and aesthetically, with a lot of cracks and patches but they hold air and do not leak. However, they are for display purposes ONLY. The rear tires are NOT suitable for riding. Very clean fuel tank interior, good spark, new spark plug, points clean and adjusted, good clean oiled air filter, good compression, engine oil changed 5/25/21, DG performance exhaust system, garaged and stored inside for over 20 years. It starts and runs good with no throttle hesitation, abnormal engine noises, or blue smoke. The pull start assembly “sticks” sometimes and can recoil with excessive force. I assume that it needs to be disassembled and lubricated. Engine idle speed set, air / fuel ratio adjusted, cam chain tension adjusted, transmission shifts through all gears, high / low transfer case fully functional, automatic clutch adjusted, drive chain tension adjusted, brake pedal works, brake pedal adjusted, brake lever cable frozen, headlight works, taillight works, it currently needs the rear tires replaced in order for it to be ridden again…
