Here is a vintage mid century 3 glass light shades tension pole lamp from the 50's or 60's era. The brass plated pole has a bit of tarnish but nothing much. It has some circular line marks on the very base. See photo 11. It otherwise appears in very good condition. The glass shades have no chips or cracks but have a good bit of the light amber color worn off. They should be stripped down to clear glass. The pole lamps works and the lights light up one light on first turn of the switch , then 2 lights, then 3 lights as you keep turning it turns them off. It measures about 8' 6 " tall when fully extended. The spring loaded top can be pushed down completely to 8 feet tall. The top has good tension. The pole portion that appears to be wood is actually metal coated to look like wood. A very nice pole lamp overall.
